Community Connector
Community Connectors have one of the most important and valued volunteer roles at the YWCA. Empower Hours are the primary way that new people are introduced to the work of the YWCA. By inviting guests to Empower Hour, Community Connectors help the YWCA build strong connections in the community, widen our circle of members, volunteers, and supporters, and provide vital community support for our programs.
Community Connectors have a passion for sharing the mission of the YWCA of Asheville: eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Ideally, Community Connectors have attended at least one Empower Hour before hosting. Contact Development@ywcaofasheville.org to take an Empower Hour Tour.
